Start with a 14-day free trial, no card needed. The trial is the whole product — every feature on the list below — at Team size: 15 team members, unlimited projects and 50 GB of files, with guests free and uncounted as always. Bring your actual team and a real import across, because that is the only way to judge it. Pick a size when you are ready. You can change or cancel your plan from the billing page; a workspace you stop paying for goes read-only, and the owner can still download everything in it. Under our terms, a workspace you stop paying for is kept for 90 days and then deleted; we email the owner before that happens.
What counts as a team member
Anyone with an owner, administrator or member role — your own staff, in effect. Guests are everyone else: clients, freelancers, contractors, a publisher, a supplier. They are invited to individual projects, see only those, and are free on every plan with no limit.
If your team grows past a plan's size, you move up a size and nothing else changes. Five people on Starter who hire a sixth move to Team.
What "every feature" means
Every plan is the same product: message threads with reply by email; task lists with subtasks, tags, priorities, estimates, dependencies and repeats; the Kanban board; the calendar with a feed for Google, Apple and Outlook; the timeline with milestones and a forecast finish date; meetings with agendas, notes and actions; time tracking with a billable flag and CSV export; custom fields; files; the Library; project pages; weekly status updates; Insights; templates; imports from Teamwork, Trello, Asana, ClickUp and spreadsheets; Slack, Teams and Discord notifications; push notifications; Google sign-in and two-step verification. Nothing is held back for a larger plan.
What eight people cost each month, in US dollars
The figures below are for eight people, taken from each vendor's own pricing page on 7 September 2026 and using the seat rules those pages state. "Monthly equivalent, billed annually" is the per-month figure a vendor shows for yearly billing; "Billed monthly" is the price on a monthly contract. Where a page does not publish a figure, the cell says so.

monday.com is not in the table. Its Standard plan (the first with a timeline) is $12 per seat a month billed annually, and the page displays a ten-seat total of $120 a month; it does not show monthly billing prices or whether exactly eight seats can be bought, so we have not put an eight-people figure against it. Questions
Is there a free plan? We don't offer a free plan, but you can try the whole product free for 14 days, at Team size. We'd rather focus on running a great paid product than offer a limited free version.
Do I need to buy seats in blocks? No. Plans cover a team size — up to 5, 15 or 40 people — and one person on Starter is fine.
What happens when the trial ends? The workspace goes read-only — you can open it and download everything, but not add to it — until you choose a plan. If you never do, we keep it for 90 days, email you before the end, and then delete it.
What if we have more than 40 people? We'd be happy to discuss the best option for your team. Just fill in this form.
Where is Think Projects hosted? Your data is securely hosted in Finland within the EU, protected by Cloudflare and encrypted off-site backups. Our support team can only access your workspace with your permission. Any access is logged, and we'll let you know when it happens. You can find full details in our privacy policy.
Can I pay by card? Yes. You can pay monthly or yearly by card through Stripe, in pounds, dollars or euros, and your invoices will be emailed to you automatically. The price you see is the price you pay — any VAT or sales tax is included.
Can I take my data out? Yes, at any time. The owner can download the whole workspace as a zip — the database and every uploaded file — and threads, pages and time entries export individually.
