Terms of Service

Last updated 10 September 2026. Questions: [email protected]

1. The service

Think Projects ("the service") is provided by Think Apps AI Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16590741, registered office 12 Hibel Road, Macclesfield SK10 2AB. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where you sign up for an organisation, on behalf of that organisation.

2. Accounts and organisations

You must give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account. The person who creates an organisation is its owner and may invite, remove and manage other people in it.

2a. Emails we send

We send essential account and service emails, including email address confirmations, invitations, billing messages and warnings before a workspace is closed. We also send any optional notifications you have enabled. If you tick the optional box when you sign up, we will send you a short series of emails to help you get started with Think Projects during your trial. You can unsubscribe from these tips at any time using the link in any of those emails or in Settings → Notifications. Unsubscribing from trial tips does not affect essential service emails or your other notification settings.

3. Trials, plans and payment

New organisations receive a free trial of 14 days. When the trial ends the organisation becomes read-only until a paid plan is chosen. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown when you subscribe. The price shown when you subscribe is the price you pay: it includes any VAT or sales tax that applies, and we will tell you before that changes. You may cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period already paid.

Refunds: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment we refund it in full. Otherwise payments are not refunded, but the plan keeps running until the end of the paid period. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card number. If a payment fails we keep the organisation open while Stripe retries, and make it read-only if the subscription ends.

4. Your content

Everything you put into the service — messages, files, tasks — belongs to you or the organisation it was posted in. You give us only the permission needed to store it, show it to the people you share it with, and back it up. You must have the right to post what you post, and you must not use the service for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.

Guests and clients you invite see only the projects you give them. You are responsible for what you share with them. If you use GIF search, the words you search for are sent to our GIF provider (KLIPY) to find matching GIFs.

4a. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to store or send anything illegal, to infringe anyone's rights, to send spam, to attack or overload the service, or to try to reach another organisation's data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

4b. Our access to your data

Nobody at Think Apps AI Ltd can open your organisation's projects, messages, tasks or files through Think Projects unless the organisation's owner or an administrator switches on support access, which is read-only, time-limited, logged where you can see it and emailed to the owner. Separately, the very small number of people who run the servers can reach the underlying databases and files, as anyone maintaining a service must. They do that to keep it running — restoring a backup, tracing a fault — not to read your work, and it is the reason we say the product is closed to us rather than that the data is. We may also process your data automatically to run the service (search indexing, notifications, backups) and see account, plan and usage details.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change or improve features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that remove something you rely on.

6. Ending the service

You can delete your organisation at any time from its settings; its data is removed within 30 days, and the backups still holding a copy are overwritten within 30 days after that. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. After a plan lapses, or a trial ends without one, the organisation is read-only and its data is kept for 90 days; we email the owner before it is deleted, and after that it cannot be brought back. A read-only organisation can still be exported in full by its owner at any point in those 90 days — being unable to add anything does not mean being unable to leave with what you already have.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter to you we give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app; carrying on using the service after that means you accept them.

9. Language

The service may be shown in several languages. These terms and the privacy policy are written in English; where a translation differs, the English version applies.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
